FULL DESCRIPTION
The Similans and Surin Islands are rated as one of the Top 10 Dive Destinations in the world. That’s what the internet says, and the internet never lies.
The Similan Islands Liveaboard adventure starts on the beautiful MV Blue Dolphin by Big Blue Diving Khao Lak. The crew has been running trips for the last 20 years so they know EXACTLY what they’re doing.
You’ll start with a pick-up from your hotel or Phuket airport in the afternoon and head to the pier for the evening departure. You’ll have a boat briefing and then dig into to awesome dinner after meeting the team as well as your new water friends that you’ll be with for the next 4 days enjoying the Similan and Surin Islands.
Most days start at around 6:30am with a gentle wake-up call. You’ll have coffee or tea available as well as cereal or snacks for a nice meal if you’re one of those who needs a bite before they explore the underwater world.
Time for the first dive around 7am. The very first dive on Day 1 will be a check-dive to make sure the crew has the groups right. We want everyone to be paired as closely as possibly to every dive is as long and enjoyable as possible.
After the first dive, an amazing full breakfast will be waiting for you back on the boat. Grab the provided towels and dry yourself off and the meal awaits. Make yourself a coffee or steep some tea.
Once you’re done digesting, it’s already time for the second dive of your Similan and Surin Islands Liveaboard (did you expect anything else?).
Dive and see all the cool fishies, maybe even a Whale Shark or Manta Ray if you’re lucky? Explore the incredible topography of limestone boulders and see thousands of species that call these water home. Those with a love for the small critters will enjoy exploring the small little cracks and crevices to see what’s lurking.
Heading back to the boat you’ll have some time to take a nice shower, play some games while lunch is prepared and then once you’re done eating, guess what? DIVE TIME.
In the evening you’ll have a nice snack, with one of the days also including a lovely beach visit if you need to go see what land looks like again. You’ll go for one more evening dive to finish the day and then a nice big dinner awaits around 7:30pm-8:00pm.
You will definitely sleep well with all the diving and eating and you’ll wake up the next day and do it all over again!
The schedule is the perfect balance of rest, food and most importantly diving. It’s the best schedule created over 20+ years of experience in the marine park. The greatest way to get the full Similan and Surin Islands diving experience and truly see what all th fuss is all about!

The MV Blue Dolphin Similans Liveaboard features beautiful comfortable spacious rooms for up to 16 guests.
Pricing is normally based on double occupancy but all rooms other than the Master Suite can be booked as a single occupant share room.
There is also a quad share room with 4 beds available for group and solo travellers on a budget.
Rooms are all equipped with a safe, reading light, power outlets, AC, storage areas with toiletries and towels provided.

BOAT FEATURES
The MV Blue Dolphin is a beautiful newly-renovated Similans Liveaboard boat. You’ll get the most diving in the shortest time possible without ever feeling rushed.
The boat has a space for a maximum of 16 guests and features premium accommodation options for every budget.
You’ll never go hungry as all your meals are included and there are always snacks available. The chefs on board will make you a variety of the best Thai cuisine available out on the high seas. Do you have any dietary requirements or are a picky eater? No problem, the team will sort anything you need!
Diving burns a lot of calories and we wouldn’t want to losing any weight on holiday!
The MV Blue Dolphin featured plenty of outdoor and indoor spaces to hang out and eat. There is a sun-deck to catch some rays or take a peaceful nap, an indoor TV lounge for when the AC treatment is needed and a massive deck-deck with plenty of room for your gear including a dedicated camera station.
Groups are always small! Never more than 4 to 1 unless you’ve got a big group and can’t stand to be away from each other.
Standard and DIN tanks available with all the highest quality gear and back-up equipment ensuring that you don’t ever miss a dive.
The MV Blue Dolphin Similans Liveaboard features an on-board EANx system to provide Nitrox certified divers with the best experience. For those who aren’t certified, you can do courses like the Nitrox specialty on board.
If you want to upgrade your Open Water Diver Certification and go for Advanced, we can get that sorted as well.
The MV Blue Dolphin Similan Islands Liveaboard is designed by divers for divers. All you need to do is show up and dive!

Amazing crew and local team on the boat. Was so happy that we go to do 3 days of diving and see the top spots of the Similans but still get to stay on land at night. The wife doesn’t do so well out on the sea, so this was perfect!
