Once you pass the course (because you're brilliant of course) you will be able to dive at any centre around the world up to a depth of 12 meters. You'll always be paired with other divers and be taken by a guide.
You won't have to do any pool session or practice your skills as long as you dive at least once a year.
You can upgrade the certificate to a full Open Water Diver Certificate which allows you to go up to 18 meters deep. All it will take is one extra day of diving at any other dive centre worldwide.
The certificate never expires but if it's been a while since you have gone out, you may need to do a refresher before the next time you dive just to make sure your skills are still sharp.
If you're unsure if you'll like diving or you've had a scary experience in the past, we want to make sure you are comfortable before you commit.
You can do the Try Scuba Discovery experience and see how it feels by doing just a quick intro and skills before going out in the water with an instructor. If you love it, then you simply continue onto your Open Water Diver Course. Easy right?
Some dive school say small group sizes and will stick you with 6 or even 8 to 1 instructor just because diving standards allow them to.
We chose our dive centre partners because they maintain higher safety standards and one of the most important ones for us is small group sizes so you'll never be in a group of more than 4 to 1 instructor for your course.
The course includes academic material and sometimes videos that can be accessed via an App on your phone.
You can even start studying this material before you arrive to the location you are doing your course. That way you have evening and nights free to enjoy since you are on holiday afterall!
Check the location page of where you want to do the course as we may offer packages that include accommodation or we will have some places that we can recommend that are nearby the dive centre.
Not a chance. Our goal is not to charge you more when you can go directly and find your own place to go diving.
We have agreements with our dive centre partners in which they reimburse us to pay for our staff pizza dinners and beers (that's all we do this for).
Our Pricing Promise also means that there is full transparency in what you see. We don't hide marine park fees or other random stupid things that companies will sometimes not be upfront about. If you have to pay it, we will let you know so you can make your decision with the full information!

No but in all seriousness, it's because we love what we do. Every dive centre partner we work with has been personally checked by our team. That means we know the team, we know the managers who run the show and we've also personally been diving with them at some point.
We do confidential feedback checks on all the guests we send and also do our own research to make sure they always stay up to our standards.
Some other companies don't take any actual responsibility for the quality of the bookings they offer but we are not like them.
By having access to multiple dive centres, we can help meet everyone's need when it comes to things such as language requirements, date requirement, agency choice and more options for dive sites.
